Olympia Candle Company began with a simple reality: life gets full, fast, and most of us don’t get many chances to slow down.

For LaRhesa, candles became a small way to reset. Simply lighting one helped quiet the noise, ease the body, and bring a sense of steadiness back into the moment. What started as a personal habit grew into something more intentional: creating home fragrance that feels good to live with, not just good to smell.

We are a woman-owned studio based in Olympia, Washington, focused on clean, thoughtfully made candles for real homes and real lives. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using ingredients chosen with care - because what you bring into your home, and what you breathe, matters.

How We Make Our Candles

Every candle is made with care and intentionality, from start to finish.

  • Hand-poured in small batches
  • Two clean wax options, both fully vegan:
    • Soy Blend — designed for a stronger, more noticeable scent throw, formulated with organic, plant-based additives to support performance and consistency
    • Coconut Blend — smooth, creamy, and even-burning, with a softer scent presence that stays calm and close
  • Phthalate-free, IFRA-certified fragrance oils
  • High-quality cotton wicks for a steady, clean burn
  • No paraffin, dyes, or unnecessary fillers
  • Poured in our reusable 9 oz and 15 oz bubble-glass jars — no lids, no mass production shortcuts
