Ingredients & Standards
When you partner with us for private label, you’re not getting a “lesser” version of what we make. Your candles are developed and produced with the same care and standards we expect from our own line.
This page outlines what we use, what we avoid, and what you can expect from our process—so you can feel confident putting your name on the final product.
High-Quality Ingredients
We use high-quality waxes and fragrance oils selected for performance, consistency, and overall experience. We don’t cut corners to hit a price point, and we don’t treat private label as “bulk production.”
Your candle is still developed in-house and hand-poured in small batches.
Wax Options
We offer two plant-based wax options depending on your goals for scent presence and burn style. Both blends are vegan and contain no beeswax.
Soy blend — a clean-burning, plant-based option with a classic candle feel, exceptional throw, and dependable performance.
Coconut blend — a smooth, creamy plant-based option known for an even burn and a softer, more close-to-the-room scent experience.
Wax selection is confirmed during your consultation based on the container you choose and the experience you want.
Fragrance Standards
We create fragrances intentionally and blend in-house. We use high-quality, IFRA-certified fragrance oils and build scent profiles around your brand—then test for performance so the candle smells the way it should in real use.
We do not duplicate proprietary blends from other makers. We can take inspiration from notes or scent profiles you love, but your final scent is developed specifically for your project.
Wicks, Testing & Performance
A candle is only as good as its burn. That’s why we test the wick and container together before production. Wick choice affects melt pool, burn rate, and overall safety—so it’s treated as part of the product design, not an afterthought.
What we test for: consistent burn, proper melt pool, stable flame behavior, and reliable performance for the chosen vessel.
Why container changes matter: changing vessel size or shape changes how the candle burns, which is why container changes require a new setup and testing cycle.
Licensing & Insurance
Olympia Candle Company is fully licensed and insured for candle manufacturing. All private label production is completed under our coverage, which helps remove liability concerns for our private label partners.
This allows you to offer a custom candle under your brand without taking on the responsibility of manufacturing, testing, or production risk.
Hand-Poured, Small Batch
Every private label candle is hand-poured in small batches. This allows better consistency, closer quality checks, and a finished product that looks and performs the way it should.
We don’t treat your order like a commodity. We treat it like your brand reputation is on the line—because it is.
What You Can Expect
You can expect a candle that feels intentional, performs consistently, and is made with care—batch after batch. If you’re building a product line you plan to reorder and scale, consistency matters. That’s what our standards are built for.
