How Private Label Works
Private label means you offer a candle under your brand—without taking on the equipment, testing, and production work yourself. We handle the development and manufacturing so you can stay focused on your business.
The process is simple, but it’s done properly: we start with a conversation, then we develop and test the candle, then we produce your order in small batches—hand-poured with the same high-quality ingredients and standards we use in our own line.
Step 1: Free Consultation
We start with a free consultation to understand exactly what you’re trying to create. We’ll talk through your goal, where the candle will be used or sold, your scent direction, and your scent strength preference. We’ll also cover the container plan and your timeline.
Tip: If you already have a container in mind, share the dimensions (or a link) so we can confirm fit and testing needs quickly.
Step 2: Container Plan
You supply the containers for your private label candles. This gives you full control over the look, feel, and price point of your product.
If you don’t have a vessel selected, we can source clean, simple, generic containers for you. Container sourcing is quoted separately.
Step 3: Setup & Development
Once you’re ready to move forward, we begin development. This is where your candle is built intentionally—not pulled from a shelf. We handle custom fragrance blending, wick selection, and the testing required to make sure your candle performs the way it should.
Setup fees
$50 setup fee (per scent, per container). This covers custom fragrance blending, wick testing, burn and safety testing, and production preparation.
$25 setup fee for each additional scent using the same container.
If the container changes (size, shape, diameter, or vessel type), a new $50 setup fee applies so testing can be done correctly for that container.
Step 4: Label Design & Layout
We handle label design and layout needed to deliver a finished, branded candle. If you already have brand guidelines or an existing label direction, we can work within it. If not, we’ll create a clean label that fits your product and looks professional on shelf.
Step 5: Production (Hand-Poured, Small Batch)
After setup is complete and details are confirmed, your order moves into production. Candles are hand-poured in small batches, cured, and checked for consistency. This is where your product becomes repeatable—so you can reorder with confidence.
Step 6: Delivery & Reorders
Once production is complete, your order is prepared for pickup or shipment. Reorders of the same scent and container are straightforward because development and testing have already been completed.
