When Life Decides to Throw a Party

Some months are slow and predictable. This is not one of those months.
This one feels like life got excited, threw confetti in the air, and yelled, “Let’s see how much we can fit into 30 days!”
The studio is a constant hum right now — candles cooling on the racks, fragrance oils lined up like little soldiers, and me with wax on my sleeve more often than not. I’ll be mid-photo shoot for a new scent when I remember I still have descriptions to write… and then realize I’m out of labels… and then remember I’ve got a meeting in ten minutes.
And just when I think I’ve hit peak busy, life outside the business jumps in with its own big moments. There’s laughter, celebrations, visitors, new beginnings — all weaving themselves into the daily chaos in a way that feels both exhausting and completely wonderful.
Some days, it’s like juggling with one hand while stirring candle wax with the other. Other days, it’s more like a dance — slightly clumsy, a little off-beat, but still somehow coming together.
By the time evening rolls around, I’m usually running on equal parts adrenaline and caffeine. That’s when I light a candle (because of course I do), pour something warm to drink, and let myself just sit for a minute. In the middle of all the noise, that little pause feels like a deep breath.
It’s busy. It’s messy. It’s more than I can possibly keep in perfect order. But it’s also one of those seasons where you know — even while you’re in it — that you’ll look back and be glad you lived it exactly this way.
