INCENSE OF THE ANCIENTS opens with a warm plume of resin — rich, golden, and steeped in history. Frankincense rises first, bright and slightly citrusy, followed by the deeper, honeyed warmth of myrrh. Together, they create a sacred, timeless opening that feels immediately calming.

Leather labdanum weaves through the heart, adding a supple warmth that softens the sharper edges of the resins. There is a quiet power in it — a grounded, ancient quality that feels like sitting beside a stone hearth as smoke curls upward in slow, thoughtful loops.

As it settles, amber and cedar widen the base, giving the candle a deep, meditative presence. The scent feels contemplative, but not heavy — grounding without pulling the room dark. Incense of the Ancients is a candle for ritual, for journaling, for breathwork, or simply for those moments when you want to reconnect with your inner steadiness.

Clean Soy or Coconut Wax Blend

Our plant-based waxes are sourced exclusively from trusted U.S. suppliers. The soy blend includes a touch of beeswax for a longer, steadier burn, while the coconut blend is fully vegan with a soft, creamy finish and a stronger scent throw. Both are designed for clean, consistent performance.

Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils

We use premium fragrance oils from reputable U.S. manufacturers who specialize in clean, safe formulations. Every scent is free from phthalates and harsh chemicals, crafted to support emotional wellbeing without compromising air quality.

ECO Cotton Wick

Our clean-burning wicks are made from flat-braided cotton with paper filaments for a stable, low-soot flame. Lead-free, zinc-free, and designed to perform beautifully with both of our wax systems.

No Dyes, Paraffin, or Additives

We keep our formulas simple and intentional. You’ll never find paraffin, artificial dyes, or unnecessary additives - just clean ingredients chosen to create a mindful, natural burn from start to finish.

What We Don’t Use

We believe a candle should be simple, clean, and intentional. That’s why we leave out anything that doesn’t support a healthy burn or a calm, safe home environment.

• NO Paraffin – we never use petroleum-based waxes.
• NO Dyes – our candles keep their natural, creamy color without artificial coloring.
• NO Additives or Fillers – no UV inhibitors, stabilizers, hardeners, or performance boosters.
• NO Metal-Core Wicks – only clean-burning cotton ECO wicks.
• NO Phthalates – our fragrance oils meet strict safety standards.
• NO Synthetic Enhancers – no vybar, stearic acid, polymers, or burn-altering chemicals.

Just clean, U.S.-sourced wax, safe fragrance, and a natural cotton wick — nothing more.

Care and Safety

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn — this helps the candle burn cleaner and last longer.
• Allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar on the first burn (2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
• Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time for best performance.
• Stop burning when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom.

Candle Safety

• Always burn candles on a heat-safe, stable surface.
• Keep away from drafts, fans, vents, curtains, and pets.
• Never leave a candle unattended or within reach of children.
• Do not move a burning candle — the glass becomes hot.
• Keep the wax free of debris (matches, wick trimmings, etc.)
• If the flame gets too high or flickers wildly, extinguish, trim the wick, and relight.
• Only burn candles in a well-ventilated area.
